Historical Note
The Duluth (Minnesota)-Superior (Wisconsin) Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Allied and Intersex Pride Weekend, a four-day festival, takes place annually in the Twin Ports over Labor Day weekend. The festival was founded by Bob Jansen, owner of Duluth’s Main Club, in 1986.
