Collection also includes 3 cartons of ephemera, photographs, and personal records. Ephemera includes buttons, t-shirts, greeting cards, games, and other items. Photographs are of Kathy Moran and her travels, friends, family, and Carleton alumni. Personal records includes publications, Carleton alumni information, her BA in Biology, and some correspondence.

Kathy Moran was born in New York on January 15, 1957 and spent much of her life in Minnesota, graduating from Carleton College and St. Catherine University. She was a strong advocate for people who are deaf and hard of hearing by helping broaden awareness and services for them. She was very active in the Twin Cities and communities beyond Minnesota, partaking in women's sports, women's music, dance, theater, language, and the Green Bike Movement.
