The collection contains mostly newspaper clippings of the Burroughs Adding Machine Company and Burroughs Corporation. There are also a few magazine clippings and a few bound volumes of clippings. Collection also contains some photocopies of newspaper articles instead of the actual newsprint.

Collection consists of press clippings collected by the Burroughs Corporation that document their company, personnel, and products.
Burroughs kept a press clippings file that contained publicity about the firm. Most of the clippings were done in-house, although Burroughs subscribed to a clipping service for a few years.
Arrangement of the Collection
The bulk of the press clippings are arranged in chronological order.
The records were given to the Charles Babbage Institute by Unisys Corporation in 1991, accession 991-35.
