Biographical Sketch

Ursula Koering was born December 22, 1921, in Vineland, New Jersey, and died December 22, 1976. She followed a career as illustrator of children's books and magazines. She began drawing as a pre-schooler, and, although her work was praised by many, shunner publicity all her life.
