Biographical Sketch
Isabell Monk was born October 4, 1952 in Washington D.C. She became a professional actor, and spent 9 seasons with the Tyrone Guthrie Theater company in Minneapolis. She has also worked in other theaters, on TV, and as a stand-up comic. She became interested in working with children through story telling, and has written several books for children. Monk has also performed and written under the name Isabell Monk O'Connor.
