Biographical / Historical

Gladys Yessayan was born in 1921 in Reedley, California. She married Clarence A. Cretan and had two children. Her first children's book was published in 1964. Her second book, All Except Sammy, was a Junior Literary Guild selection. She died in 2014 after writing over a dozen children's books.
