Biographical / Historical

Author and illustrator Ellen Stoll Walsh was born on September 2, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her B.F.A. in 1964 at the Maryland Institute of Art and attended the University of Minnesota from 1966 to 1969. She lives in New York state.
