Biographical / Historical

Heather Bouwman grew up in Michigan and received a B.A. from Calvin College in Grand Rapids. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois-Urbana, before relocating to Minnesota in 2001. She is an English professor at the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, MN. Her novel, The Remarkable and Very True Story of Lucy and Snowcapwas published in 2008.
