The collection contains ink and tempera illustrations with accompanying color separations for the picture book Pedro, written and illustrated by Divers and published in 1953. Two proofs of the cover are also held in the papers.

Biographical / Historical

Dorothy Divers was born May 22, 1919 in Valley City, ND. She worked as an artist at Augsburg Publishing House before graduating from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, where she later taught art for 29 years. She died November 22, 2003.
