Biographical / Historical

Young adult novelist Patrice Kindl was born October 15, 1951 in Alplaus, New York. Prior to becoming a writer Kindl worked as a secretary and volunteer for the organization Helping Hands. She published her first young adult novel Owl in Love, in 1993, and her other novels include The Woman in the Wall and Keeping the Castle. She lives in Middleburgh, New York.
