Biographical / Historical

Louise Lawrence was born Elizabeth Rhoda Holden, June 5, 1943, in Leatherhead, Surrey, England. Before becoming a writer she worked as a librarian from 1961 to 1971. Since the publication of her first novel in 1971, she has provided readers with over a dozen novels, as well as a fantasy series known as the "Llandor Trilogy," and is best known for her fantasy and science fiction works. Lawrence died in 2013.
