Biographical Sketch

Russell Hoban was born in Lansdale, PA in 1925. He has written and illustrated two non-fiction children's books and has written nine novels and over 60 children's books. Sensitively and humourously portraying familiar family situations, Hoban may be best known for his series of books about Frances, the badger, and her family.
