Overview Papers of August Burandt (or Burant) consist of a letter written by him to his brother Bernard Burandt, a farmer in the Stevens Point, Wisconsin, area. The four-page letter was written by August Burandt from Korne, in the Pomeranian region of Poland, and discusses August Burandt's ill health and his religious faith, also mentions several other relatives and friends. At the end of the letter, a note written by another author indicates that this was the last letter received from "uncle August."
