Biography
Helge A. Gustafson was born on October 14, 1917 in Duluth, Minnesota. A lifelong Duluth resident, he graduated from Denfeld High School in 1937. He married Violet Peterson on July 3, 1942. He worked at the Grand Bakery, Miller's Cafeteria for eight years, the Northern Pacific Railroad for eight years, at Diamond Tool, and for the Duluth School District at Denfeld High School for 19 years, retiring in 1980. He had an active interest in photography throughout his life. Helge passed away in Duluth on September 3, 2002.
