Papers (1958-1981) of Reino Makela (1915-1979) consist of letters he wrote to Eva Helen Erickson. Makela was born in the United States and emigrated with his family to Karelia in the Soviet Union in 1931. Reino Makela's letters start in 1931, his last one is from May 9, 1979. (There is a gap between the years 1932 ans 1958.)
