Papers (1930s-1960s) of author-illustrator Marie Hall Ets (b. 1895) consist of stories told to Mrs. Ets by Rosa Cassettari, as well as research notes and manuscript drafts forming the basis of Mrs. Ets' book, Rosa, The Life of an Italian Immigrant (Minneapolis, University of Minnesota Press, 1970).

Abstract
Marie Hall Ets' papers focus on her work as an author and illustrator of children's picture books. The collection contains production material for twenty titles published between 1935 and 1974. It includes holographs and typescripts, notes, front matter, correspondence, and gallery proofs and some miscellaneous holograph and typescript material, clippings, and a nine page autobiographical typescript.
