Biographical Note

George Britt was a journalist and editor. He worked at newspapers in Richmond, Oklahoma City, Kansas City, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and New York City and spent two years with the Office of War Information in the Near East during World War II. He was managing editor of Surveymagazine from 1947 to 1950.
