Biographical / Historical
The Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare (CASCW) was established in 1992 through a grant from the Bush Foundation and federal Title IV-E funding. The Center works to improve the lives of children and families involved with public child welfare programs through professional education, outreach, research, and evaluation and by connecting University of Minnesota, county, tribal, state and community social services.
