Content Description

The Marie Kochaver collection documents topics such as radical feminist movements and politics, social justice issues, abortion rights, anti-pornography work, feminist grass roots movements, protests and social actions.

The collection includes: publicaitons and local mimeographed fliers by the Women's Liberation Group; Twin Cities Female Liberation; and Scum News Service as well as mimeographed articles reprinted for distribution by Minneapolis Female Liberation Group; Twin Cities Female Liberation Group; and Women's Counseling Service.

Additional materials include: 1973 Statements by The American Feminist Party and Women's Task Force; materials from Women against Military Madness (W.A.M.M.); information from a women's music event held at the downtown Minnieapolis Public Library; photographs and contact sheets of meetings and events; and a 1972 booklet by the Emma Willard task Force on Education, titled "Sexism in Education."
