Biographical / Historical
California Scene originated as a monthly publication in 1970, eventually publishing biannually in its last year of 1976. It was edited and published by Jeff Buckley, and focused on the gay community in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego, and documents the post-Stonewall gay scene and community in those regions.
