Biographical / Historical
Dallas Voice is an LGBTQ newspaper published in Dallas, TX. It focuses primarily on local LGBT news in North Texas, although it also reports on state and national news. It was founded in 1984 by Don Ritz, Robert Moore and William Marberry as a community newspaper, and is now published by the Voice Publishing Company, which also publishes OUT North Texas, an LGBTQ visitors guide for the Dallas-Fort Worth area. It was also a founding member of the National Gay Newspaper Guild and an early member of the Gay Press Association.
