The Jay (Huber) Gordon Papers contain musical scores, recordings (13 CDs), and digital files (USB flash drive with PDF files) of both original work and arrangements by Jay Gordon. A musical journal spanning 2004-2008 is also included, along with a detailed catalog of the collection produced by Mr. Gordon prior to the collection’s donation.

Biographical Note

Jay Gordon is a classically-trained composer, musician, and educator from Minneapolis, MN. His choral works have been performed by Minneapolis’ One Voice Chorus, Dale Warland Singers, Cantus, the National Lutheran Choir, and the Rose Ensemble, and a guitar/mandolin piece by the duo Ahlert and Schwab. Gordon has released several original albums, in addition to arranging a variety of famous classical works for guitar.
