The Gail Lewellan papers contain clippings, articles, flyers, photocopies of legal documents related to employment, correspondence, an annotated paper written by Gail Lewellan, and photographs and a jacket from the Amazons softball team. The collection contains a newspaper interview with Lewellan under the pseudonym "Susan Flynn.”

Biographical Sketch
Gail Lewellan, attended the Law School of the University of Minnesota. She worked with the Department of Natural Resource (DNR) as Assistant Attorney General in the Minnesota Attorney General’s office from 1979-1991, and as Assistant Commissioner for Human Resources and Legal Affair from 1992-1999. Currently, Lewellan works as a Senior Attorney for the Nature Conservancy and serves as Co-Chair of the Pilot Knob Preservation Association. While working with the DNR Lewellan participated with Quadriga, an organization for GLBT people in Minnesota state service, and was active in GLBT employment rights.
