Biographical Sketch

Andrew J. Eddy is an active member of the GLBT communities in Florida. He was a co-founder of the Broward Log Cabin Chapter (1991). Eddy was the South East Regional Director for the Log Cabin Federation from 1993-1995, during which time the Log Cabin Federation changed its name to the Log Cabin Republicans Club. Eddy is also the founder of the Sunshine Athletic Association Scuba Club, and the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual Veterans of America (GLBVA) (currently not included in the Collection). He also held office or was an active participant in several clubs in South Florida, including Dignity/Fort Lauderdale, Diving for Life, and the Remember When Dinner, which honored GLBT activists from the 1960s and 1970s.
