Historical Note
The Education Career Development Office (EDCO) was formed in 1973, the result of an administrative reorganization that combined three (3) University vocational and career advising units: the Bureau of Recommendations, Student Personnel Office, and the Department of Clinical Experiences.
The EDCO coordinated the admission process for the College of Education (later Education and Human Development), provided counseling and career planning, coordinated field experiences and internships, maintained student records, oversaw the course registration process, and provided resources for job placement.
