Biographical Sketch of Arthur J. Madden (1919-1970)
Arthur J. Madden, Jr. was born on February 10, 1919 in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned his B.S. from the University of New Hampshire in 1940 and his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1949. Dr. Madden joined the faculty of the chemical engineering department at the University of Minnesota in 1949. Arthur Madden died in 1970.
