Biographical Sketch of Clarence E. Lund (1906-1990)
Clarence Edward Lund was a professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Minnesota. He was born in 1906 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and earned his B.S. in 1933 and M.S. in 1935 from the University of Minnesota. From 1944-1948, he was director of research for Seeger Corporation. He joined the faculty at the University of Minnesota in 1949 and retired in 1974 as professor emeritus. His area of research was on heating, ventilation and air conditioning and was often asked to consult by architects, roofers, manufactures and local governments. Clarence Lund died in July 1990.
