Historical Note

Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity, was founded at Lafayette College on December 16, 1925. The society’s goals are to assemble college and university men in the fellowship of the Scout Oath and Law, to promote friendship, and to promote service to humanity. The University of Minnesota is home to the Gamma Psi chapter.

Source of acquisition

The collection was deposited in University Archives on April 6, 1950. An additional deposit was made to the collection on October 16, 1984.
