Historical Note
The Institute of Technology Students Technical Commission was incorporated in 1939 as a inter-departmental student association to allow students of the various departments within I.T. to "act as a unit in all matters of general interest to these colleges and to the University." The Technical Commission served as the student governing body of I.T., assisted faculty in matters of student discipline, worked with the All-University Council and supervised Engineers' Day, a yearly student event held from the 1920s-1940s.
