Historical Note
The Zenobian Society was organized on December 9, 1869 by a group of women at the University of Minnesota. The society was social, with a purpose "of mutual improvement, the refinement of our manners, and the cultivation of our trade." The last meeting of the Zenobian Society was held on June 10, 1970.
