Biographical Sketch of Hazel Ward (1903- )
Hazel Ward was born on September 2, 1903. She earned her B.A. in english from the University of Minnesota in 1927. She returned to the University to join the staff of the Department of Art History as chief projectionist and assistant slide librarian after World War II. Ms. Ward retired in 1972. After her retirement, Ms. Ward was an active poet and essayist. She had four books of poetry published and wrote an opinion column for the Sun Post, a community paper of the Robbinsdale, Minnesota area.
