This collection includes letters, photographs, pamphlets, songbooks, telegrams, maps, plaques and other materials from Margie Apter, detailing her involvment with different fraternities and sororities at the University of Minnesota. Some materials relate to her first husband, Stanton Wolkoff, who was a member of the fraternity Sigma Alpha Mu.

Biographical / Historical

Marjorie (Margie) Frishberg (née Apter) was an active member of Greek life at the University of Minnesota in the 1950s. She and her husband Stanton Wolkoff had three children, Julie, Richard, and Barbara. Margie was later married to Donald Frishberg. She passed away in June 2021.
