Biographical / Historical
Lee Rapoport Gordon was born in 1909. She married Maurice Gordon, who was born in 1903, and they had two children: Joy and Fred. She was involved with various Jewish organizations, including work as a founder of the United Synagogue Youth (USY) movement, and involvement with the Women's League of United Synagogue of America, Hadassah, and Minneapolis Federation and Beth El Women's League. Lee passed away in 1987 and is buried alongside her husband at the Minneapolis Jewish Cemetery in Richfield, Minnesota.
