Biographical / Historical
Rabbi Morris Allen was ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1984 and joined Beth Jacob Congregation as rabbi in August 1986. Beth Jacob, a Conservative congregation in the Twin Cities suburbs, was at the time a newly-merged synagogue created from the merging of Sons of Jacob and the New Conservative Congregation. Beth Jacob's new building in Mendota Heights opened in fall 1988, and Rabbi Allen led the congregation through to 2021.
