Scope and Contents

This collection consists of one record book, in which minutes and records have been handwritten or typed and pasted onto the pages. Entries from 1905 to 1951 are entirely in Yiddish, 1952 to 1955 are in English. Entries detail the work of the Board at upkeeping the cemetery.

Biographical / Historical

There was a small Jewish population located in Superior, Wisconsin, across the bay from Duluth, Minnesota on Lake Superior. Hebrew Cemetery is located at Cemetery Road and Highway 105 in South Superior, Wisconsin.
