Biographical / Historical
The research materials compiled by J. Bertram "Bert" Press detail his extensive genealogy research on different branches of his family: Dorf, Press, and Arnovich. One of his relatives, C. Morris Arnovich, was a baseball player. Born in Superior, Wisconsin, he was a Major League Baseball outfielder in the 1930s and 1940s. He played with the Philadelphia Phillies, the Cincinnati Reds (including during their 1940s World Series championship), and the New York Giants.
