Biographical / Historical
Arthur Lazarus was born in St. Paul and is the son of Jennie and Isaac Lazarus. Arthur repaired typewriters and musical instruments and was the owner of Students Typewriter and Music Store in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Arthur was an inventor, holding the patent for a friction heating device for domestic furnaces. Jennie Lazarus was the landlady of the Louis Lazarus Estate in St. Paul. The Lazarus Clothing Store resided in Spooner, Wisconsin.
