Biographical Note
Dan Brennan was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota, but grew up in Minneapolis. He served with the Air Force during the Second World War. He returned to Minnesota after the war and worked as a journalist, novelist, and press secretary for Minneapolis Mayors Hubert Humphrey and Eric Hoyer.
He published 25 paperback novels and many short stories and hunting articles. One of his best-received books was his first novel, Never So Young Again, published in 1942. He died in Artesia, California in 2002.
