Collection contains correspondence and financial documentation related to Emilie Buchwald's position of Editor for the Milkweed Chronicle, and later Milkweed Editions. Correspondence includes letters from notable poets and writers, both local and national, as well as artists and musicians.

Biographical / Historical
Emilie Buchwald is an editor, poet, teacher, and award-winning children’s author. She is the co-founder and former publisher of the Milkweed Chronicle and later Milkweed Editions. She is also the author of the award-winning children’s novel, Gildaen. She is currently the publisher of The Gryphon Press. She is the co-founder and former publisher of the Milkweed Chronicle and later Milkweed Editions. Buchwald is a McKnight Distinguished Artist Award as well as a recipient of the Kay Sexton Award in recognition of outstanding work in fostering books, reading, and literary activity.
