Biographical / Historical

Arrowhead Civic Club organized in 1922 to improve all aspects of community life. Its letterhead states that the Club founded Train/Ride Picnic, started Fatherless Boys Association, started City Wide City Pride, and originated promotion of Boys & Girls Club. It also supported ski tournaments, donated to Food Shelves, Sheriffs Rescue Squad, Boys & Girls Club and Iron River Lion's Club. It dispersed all remaining funds and dissolved in 1990.
