Biographical / Historical

The Arrowhead Health Sciences Library Network was a consortium of health science libraries in northeastern Minnesota and Superior, Wisconsin. It was informally organized in 1979. As of 1992 it had nineteen member libraries, the University of Minnesota Duluth Health Science Library was its resource library. Its primary purposes were to promote resource sharing and provide cooperation among libraries serving the health science community.

Originally organized as the Arrowhead Professional Libraries Association, the name was changed in October 1992 to Arrowhead Health Sciences Library Network.
