Biographical / Historical

Joseph Bogdanich came to the United States at age 16 and worked in the iron mines until 1924. His oil paintings, woodcarvings and stone mosaics, were a hobby which he gave as gifts to government officials, friends of acquaintances. Later he organized a museum in Eveleth, Minnesota.
