The collection consists of the transcript of an interview recorded by Elmer Albinson, Director of the Amerian Swedish Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. Nelson describes his Swedish parents' pioneer experiences in Cook County, Minnesota.  Mr. Nelson describes early commercial fishing, hunting, and family life.
