Conservation History Project papers
Scope and Contents
The collection contains papers from the Conservation History Project's work on the history of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in Voyageurs National Park. It includes photocopies of correspondence and newspaper articles concerning CCC camps at Cusson and Kabetogama Lake from 1933 to 1958 and transcriptions of interviews with five men -- Otto Eggert, John Kulas, Thomas Schrader, Walter Miller, and Reinhold Homer -- who worked in those camps during that time period.
