Biographical / Historical

Cobb Elementary School was located at 110 W Redwing St. in Duluth, Minnesota. The school was built in 1913 and opened in January, 1914. An addition to the building was started in 1918. Cobb School was gutted by fire during the 1918 forest fire. The school was rebuilt and reopened in January, 1919.

E.R. Cobb was a member of the Duluth Board of Education for eighteen years and was a resident of the Woodland neighborhood where the school was located.
