The collection contains a 220 page autobiography completed in 1971. The manuscript includes accounts of life as a German immigrant in New York, hobo in the Midwest and prohibition in northeast Minnesota. Also included are a few photographs, 1909-1970, and a letter, 1970, that relates additional information about his life.

Biographical / Historical

Albert O. Enzmann was a German immigrant who settled in Minnesota about 1910. He worked a number of jobs in northeast Minnesota including farmer, laborer, and owner of the Ray Hotel in Ray, Minnesota. At the end of his life he lived in California.
