Biographical / Historical

David Ericson came to Duluth, Minnesota in 1872 from Motala, Sweden. In Duluth, Ericson cultivated his interest in painting and went on to win a number of awards. He studied in New York where he worked for Tiffany’s Jewelry Co. Later, he studied in Paris under James Whistler.
