H. Watson Wilson oral history interview
Scope and Contents
The collection consists of two audio recordings of an interview with H. Watson Wilson. The interview, conducted by Barbara Sommer on behalf of the Northeast Minnesota Historical Center, took place on March 23, 1977.
This oral history interview was conducted to provide information on the Duluth Board of Trade archival collection (S2209); H. Watson Wilson was the final secretary of the Board of Trade in Duluth, Minnesota at the time of its dissolution in 1972. In the interview H. Watson Wilson provided explanations of the various documents in the collection, focusing on their use and significance to the functioning of the Board. He also described the relationships among the various bureaus of the Board of Trade, such as the Sampling Bureau and the Board of Arbitration, to the Board itself.
