Biographical / Historical
Alden Lind was an environmental consultant for the Save Lake Superior Association and a member of the Emergency Water Supply Monitoring Committee for Duluth, Minnesota. Through the work of both these organizations he was involved with the dispute with Reserve Mining Company over the company’s policy of discharging taconite tailings into Lake Superior.
