Scope and Contents

The collection consists of a loose leaf notebook containing clippings on mining and individuals involved in mining. It is divided into two sections: Biographical and Michigan Historical. It appears that most if not all of the selections were taken from the weekly trade magazine Skilling’s Mining Review of Duluth, Minnesota.

There is no index to the volume and the clippings are not in chronological order. It includes many photographs of mining men.
